Jumping from tasks

Hello Everybody! (Hello Doctor Nick!)

I finished the new menu background, I love it, I hope everybody else in the team likes it as well, so far they have been quite. 😉

Now I started finishing some open tasks from my assigned bug list. Texture errors, flipped logos, missing or wrong driver names. The small stuff that makes the mod taste bad when it’s not discovered. Whenever some bug or issue is raised here in the comments or in forums, we add it to our list and review the problem.
We appreciate your feedback, because we got alot good notifies, thanks! 🙂

some update…

i thought to let you know that i am quite busy finishing modelling and artwork for 1994. progress is processing very well. picture shows some fictional constellation of the 94 benetton ford, as the rear wing is the late season one. just wanted to have a look at the measurements. next will be steering wheels and the face lift of the williams, cause i noticed i modelled the wrong nose, a pre-season one. if there is someone out there who can deliver pictures of steering wheels, especially from the low-budget teams, this would be great. so far, have a great time…

CTDP F1 2006 will also have small utilities for customizing the mod. We call it ControlCenter (CC) and I want to tell you something about it, so that you know what to expect.

Working hard, hardly working

I’m currently working on the animated menu backgrounds. Just so you know I’m not lazy. 🙂

[UPDATE 5-FEB-08] R26 on my hands [and again…]

Hey CTDP’ers!

Just want to let you know that R26 is on the way. You may notice that is the second post of the R26, but just let you know that some errors on the shape and mapping were the reason why this car is delaying. Also Paulo let me paint that beauty… Thanks Man!

Now, as Andy fixed the things I’ve told about that (both shape and mapping), sent me the “new” car and here I am, painting it, combining with exams.

Also, wish me luck as I’ll paint all the track-specific liveries… More WIPs to come, so Stay Tunned!!

Download mirrors

Small update on the homepage. Thanks to Remus for notifying me about some dead download mirrors. They are removed now. If you know webpages that host our stuff (any game) (registered download or free) please contact us, so we can add them.

We would also like to invite webmasters to contact us, who want to participate in the launch of F1-2006 and mirror it. It’s not next week you know, but it’ll come handy.

Steering wheels WIP

Another screenshot, this time of the redbull after last week screenhot of the Toro Rosso. Just to show what I am doing at the moment. The Toro Rosso is ingame now and the Redbull will be ingame later today.

1994 work still continues

now all cars are modelled, even most of the upgrades, some have to be face-lifted, most textures done, work still continues…

Steering wheels WIP

Karl, in reply to your previous post, as a little icing on the cake some some steering wheels have a track map like Spyker and Toro Rosso. So as part of the upgrades the correct track map will be displayed for each circuit. Screenshot showing an early last week wip.

Steering wheels WIP

Hello everyone,

Just a little progress report. No screenshots from me today but after my extended Xmas vacation to let you know that steering wheels have progressed quite bit. Some clever bloke noted that the Toro Rosso and Red Bull steering wheels were 2007 specification ( a mistake on our part) :), this has now been corrected with the TR already redone, the Red Bull nearly done and some small touchups to others.

This leaves just the Super Aguri as the only wheel to be modelled, so not far away and this part for the work will be completed.
