Safety Car Cockpit & Small Update
Andy’s been taking a few days off from being lazy (hehe) to get near completetion of the safety car cockpit 🙂

We decided to make the Safety Car drivable, so it will get own physics and own tyres and for driving a Safety car you’ll need a cockpit,too. Here’s a small preview of the cockpit so far.

last two cars finished…
so, finally, i got it. after a long time of not having any motivation to do something on this topic, the last two cars missing are built (benetton and Lotus), and 3 more were face-lifted (mclaren, williams, pacific). minor changes have been done on every car. for benetton and williams there are already cockpits finished. will keep up the work, as the other cockpits will be done next. hope the progress will be more progressiv when the others are finished with 2006.

Me and andy have been working on finishing the safety car (mainly Andy :P) This week we’ve been working on the lights and getting the lightbar finished and working.

Safety Car Part……..Lost Count
Hey guys, Andy’s been wokring his ass off recently to get the safety car finished and in game and he’s done a fantastic job as usual to get it fully done in about 2 weeks and in game working. I was given the wireframes last friday and we been wokring to fix any mapping bugs quickly, i have some prelimiary screenshots of the car on the spinner in game for everyone to see.

Hi guys,
There was some silance the past few days. I’m sorry but there is not much to show atm. I did some tweaks on the shaders and cleaned up everything so that we have a smaller mod and less ingame resources used. The safety car is in a good state and shaun is already painting it. It’s already ingame but pretty rude atm so we won’t show it for now. I hope i can finish off the car itself tomorrow. The lightbar on the car is another story. Alex is working on a small surprise for the spinner and Arioch,Gonzo and Speed are working on the physics.
So that’s it for now.
