Ferrari Upgrades finished & more

Hey guys,

We’re back in work after our small x-mas vacation. Today i finished the Ferrari Upgrades for the whole season. The screenshots are a bit ugly because of the jpeg compression but i think you can get what i want to show ;). So there is only SuperAguri for Upgrades left, my next work will be Renault, have to do some shape fixes and some mapping issues to solve. After that i’ll hopefully finish the SuperAguri Upgrades which are already progressing by Marko S. Then i need to finish the new driverbody and the worst thing at the whole mod………. LOD’s!

Marco finished the last model and all trackspecific upgrades of the Renault R26. Have a look!

Honda Ra106 upgrades

Scuderia Toro Rosso Season Upgrades finished

Ok guys, i finished the Scuderia Toro Rosso Season Upgrades. So only LOD’s left and this car is totally finished. I’m currently working on the BMW Upgrades which contains a lot more upgrades than STR. I atteched only 3 shots of STR to show the most recent upgrades but there are a lot more (one for each GP raced in 2006).

Working …

Well not much to show, we are working on the upgrades, finished the first teams for good, for example Toro, Ferrari and Midland. I finished all 8 Toro Rosso Liveries and hope to never see this car again. Andy is composing all upgrades for the car. We are also trying which we actually can use and so far our tests are promising to bring you a big variety.

Midland track upgrades

As the cars get finished, work on the upgrades continues. It is not yet definite which parts will be upgradable, but some basics at least. Here are some screenshots from the Midland/Spyker upgrades. Don’t mind the old rearwing-endplates. 😉

Spyker-Steeringwheel

Work on the steering wheels has continued. Andy has picked up the Williams-Steering wheel, fixed some mapping issues, improved the handles and finished the model. Now it’ll be painted. Matthew started again on the Midland-Steering wheel, as there were some inaccuracies, which would’ve taken longer to fix than to start again. However this wheel is also nearly finished and will be mapped later. Here is a screenshot.

Sort of first McLaren screens

Ok, the McLaren textures are done and they ended up just great. I’m damn proud of them. This one and Toro Rosso I think are my finest works and real icing on the big 2006-mod-cake. I hope you think the same when you see it in person.

Steering wheel time

The work on steering wheels started. First we sorted out, which could be simply updated from 2005 and which had to be done new. Well most of them. Ferrari was one of the few who just got some small updates, implemented by Kizz.

Nearly done is the Williams-wheel by Matthew. Last but not least, after finishing Williams Matthew started the Spyker-Wheel. Both are done from scratch as you can see.
