As some of you may know im a huge McLaren fan so have been trying to get my hands on a mclaren to paint for CTDP for a while now, but seeing as we only did 2006 since i’ve been in the team i’ve never had the chance. but yesterday i finally got the chance to paint the classic colours of the 1994 McLaren 🙂 heres a few shots.

This is the livery that I’m used to connect to McLaren: even if it passed a long time since they last used it, I still like this orange/white mix. 🙂

The car models are all finished. but i used to paint the textures in 1024, so, we have to redo them now.
@Uff: Where I come from it’s red as in “il colore rosso” 🙂
Uhm, yes, probably you are right: I don’t know why, but I always thought about it as an orange, probably because it wasn’t as red as Ferrari, for example.

By the way, the color of the “red” has to be electric red, the most red color in Photoshop, not another one.
Will the Peugeot engine be able to lunch itself on the start line like it was able to do back in the day?
The airbox is huge compared to the real car.
