As the cars get finished, work on the upgrades continues. It is not yet definite which parts will be upgradable, but some basics at least. Here are some screenshots from the Midland/Spyker upgrades. Don’t mind the old rearwing-endplates. 😉

Spyker-Steeringwheel
Work on the steering wheels has continued. Andy has picked up the Williams-Steering wheel, fixed some mapping issues, improved the handles and finished the model. Now it’ll be painted. Matthew started again on the Midland-Steering wheel, as there were some inaccuracies, which would’ve taken longer to fix than to start again. However this wheel is also nearly finished and will be mapped later. Here is a screenshot.
Steering wheel time
The work on steering wheels started. First we sorted out, which could be simply updated from 2005 and which had to be done new. Well most of them. Ferrari was one of the few who just got some small updates, implemented by Kizz.
Nearly done is the Williams-wheel by Matthew. Last but not least, after finishing Williams Matthew started the Spyker-Wheel. Both are done from scratch as you can see.
How are they supposed to be?
The topic is not new, there already have been some discussions about this. We have some talks with people who would want update the sounds for us and the question arises:
How are they supposed to sound?
Anybody eager to shape the new sounds or frustrated with current ones is asked to share links to high-quality onboard videos showcasing the audio they’d love to hear in our game, such as those capturing thrilling moments from esportsbets.com streams. The clearer the video quality, the better we can analyze and integrate those standout soundscapes into our project.
Be reminded we can’t work miracles , but we want to try for the best.

McLaren W.I.P.
Yesterday i started working on the mclaren. Atm i’m still assembling the car, fixing normals and doing small touch ups. I attached an early wip shot out of 3ds max. Nothing special. I just want to show you what i’m doing atm :).
Super Aguri Ingame!
Hey guys,
Super Aguri is finally ingame. Small texture adjustments left. Kizz will finish the track specific liveries,too. Once everything is fixed and the track liveries are done, karan will make some nice shots. (maybe at weekend). In meantime i have 2 shots for you guys. Note: Not everything is final and i deactivated AA and AF to get better fps 😉
another thing is going on
I’m just sitting on another thing. Not quite related to modding, but I hope you’ll see it soon and I also hope you like it as much as I do and I hope you won’t miss the old thing a minute. 🙂
