Making of Ferrari F60 detail shots

For sure I will really like it when finished!

It’s the track-configuration of the first 3 (or 4?) races

Heck I just wish I had rF2! lol

You guys at CTDP are sick. In the best possible way lol. Looks absolutely fantastic. I have a suggestion though. Not that too many would care about it but here it comes nevertheless.
I would be fine without all the different livery’ throughout the season, same goes for upgrades. I don’t think too many racers care about it. You did a great job with the 06 mod of course, but maybe you could leave it with that. You would make many simracers happy if you released this mod a bit faster, but then again, if rFactor 2 isn’t released until next year, you could do all the upgrades for the cars.
The problem with the upgrades is that when people race on new tracks or tracks that aren’t included in the list for which the upgrades will work, they fill no function.
You have probably stopped reading by now anyway, so I will quit now lol.

And I see you have already made the base for the beige kneepads in the Ferrari cockpit. That makes this mod incredible already
All others have missed that detail but not you. I’m not surprised

Hehe, I’m new at CTDP but though I made it =D
And luckily Ferrari didn’t change much (or even nothing?) in the 09 season. And even if they did, I guess those changes are not really noticeable at first view.
Don’t worry, I think nobody of us wants to make different liveries from allover the season. I just updated the car to the early season spec, because it’s more fun to drive a car, which has been used in the races. Launch cars are not that interesting

I can see ignition hole! Impressive! :O

@(CTDP)Racervieh, thanks for the answer
Ferrari have changed the car quite a lot actually since Bahrain, but from the outside it isn’t that visible. They made the sidepods more slim at the rear to fit the new diffuser, and made changes to the front wing as well. But it isn’t a big difference, and it’s quite hard to spot really. I agree that the launch cars are pretty boring driving. An early season spec would be just fine.
Would be good if CTDP could make a post about how they plan to make this mod. When you have time of course

Fortunately, all changes for each team and race are listed on the FIA homepage. You may even find some more or less useful illustrations.

Those on the F1-homepage are by far only a few of all changes listed. The devblog at f1technical.net has more, but also misses alot! We are noting everything we come across. How much we are going to implement is not yet decided.
By (CTDP)Dahie on Jun 15, 2009
The latter I took for granted. I mean that you are noting everything…

Looking at the image zooming in on the exhaust, the model seems to be mesh/turbo smoothed…or I am seeing ghosts?
But, that doesn’t change the fact that this is very nice modelling !

I would like to ask help. Strictly onto an own usage I converted it single BRAWN GP car. But the nose of the car does not appear in the game on TV cam picture. I don’t know the reason. I see the wheels, the suspension and the first wing, but the nose of the car no.
I turned to you because you are the best one F1 mod maker team. You know his reason sure. I ask you it in exchange for this to help.
Greet.
Thanks.

I suggest to write this in our forum, I think that’s the better place to discuss.
