Me and andy have been working on finishing the safety car (mainly Andy 
) This week we’ve been working on the lights and getting the lightbar finished and working.
Heres a few screenshots of what we have been upto.

One Thing: the things around the lights are not that well modelled. I think you have to remodel this parts.

I am working on a new driver model, (currently finalising the mapping )that will be used for the f1 drivers, so he can also be used for the safery car.
For now the invisible man is doing the job for us.

It will be ready on 1 day of the week which is also 1 day in a month and 1 day in a year.
You guys may think theres a big team working on this, but in reality theres a total of probably 5-7 and 3 of those are physics

Ok why then do you make the 1994 mod and dont take these guys to finish the most wanted mod for rFactor to finish 2006 season cause with such a small team you wont be in a good position for future mod releases or we will have to wait again 2 years or more for the best mod in rFactor.
Continue your great work finish it before next year and damn show FSONE and MMG what a mod is.

Metalllord. Some stages of the mod require different people, so while texturing and modellers work at the earlier stages, the stage it is in now is more about fixes, optimisation, getting stuff ingame etc and physics, not everyone in the team is equipped to do that.
We also strictly control everything via version control and a QA process,it may take time, but we rather maintain a level of quality. If there was a quicker way, we would do it

Safety car looks great
I realy hope that this mod will be released before 2009 , because codemasters will release game in 2009 , so I dont think that i will have enaugh time to play this great mod and that game at the same time
it would be great if this mod will be ready befoere september.

They’re not going to give an answer probably because the repeated over a thousand times that by now there are no plans for the future, except for completing 94 mod.
Let them finish their work with thiese 2 mods, we will then see what the future will bring.

Some could hav the time cause the moddeling for 2006 is over they are just fixing things and adding last missing thiungs. So i think we can expect the mod this year. And perhaps there wil be another surprise.

Seriously anger… STFU!
CTDP gives us a lot of updates… Look at the damn blog for Gods sake?! Look at MMG’s (Yandens) blog (updated 5th of April) or their forum (no info at all on their 1.1 or 2.0 versions of their SE or public version, nothing)… MMG don’t do the same amount of updates towards the community. CTDP IS the best at modding and at reaching their (loyal) fans. FSOne is allright at the moment to reach their viewers, well done, CoDeX.

Whoa whoa, calm down guy’s we’ve got used to people constantly asking about when things are going to be released and we now just ignore them and concentrate on the work untill a constructive question come up
Now were busy with things, give us a break it is nearing the end of the educational year so a lot of us are busy with other things to do with our education, thats why theres been no updates for a while. The mod will be out ASAP not before and no matter how much you ask were not going to give a date out as we don’t even know outselves.

FSONE that must be a jpke their just give us less then MMG on website in a language that nobody speaks.And CTDP didnt give us updates a long time when MMG gave us many updates it just changed.
Just take your time guys we can see with MMg what comes out when you mod fast but with no view on the quality.

To divert attention form your busy discussions, there is stuff going on. Right now I am working on the safety car steering wheel, and I have some work to do on our driver model, and something a little surprise for the spinner/showroom, for which I will leave you in suspense
Also I have been working on some performance options for the mod with which I am making progress. So we are not all doing exams or at school. I am too old far that
but for sure there is not much to do, but the last few bits always take the longest.

If they are working on that be sure you gonna see some pics before the release like last year where you can see nothing cause it a secret and then surprise surprise the car rolls out some weeks after. So stop asking this stupid question and let them do their work to finish the fucking great mod.

ISI hasn’t got the licence for F1.08.
Codemasters got the Formula 1 licence for a couple of years forward.
If CTDP’s got to make a mod it’s gonna be for them self.

Your statement is wrong UGJ.
First thing: as far as we know. Codemasters licence begins for the 2009 Formula 1 season.
Second thing: BMW Sauber are freely available to allow them to give licences for LFS or ISI or whoever to make “just” their car.
The Licence that games get is for the branding of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship that includes licences to use all 10 teams (of 2009 season) and all 17/18/19 or how many tracks they use for the next season and also for the user of the drivers name unless an issue comes up like with F1 97 and “Williams Driver” which was supposed to be Jacques Villeneuve.
